Well for a long period of time I did the same. Over a span of about 3 years, I went through the toughest times in my life. Not saying I have problems on the same level of people living in inequality in the world, but I want to level-set with the idea that everyone no matter where you come from has challenges. For me, this was losing my right leg in an accident and becoming a below-knee amputee or BKA for short.

 

With that said I want to introduce the https://mindofmeier.com/ A website, blog, content hub, but more importantly, a place to learn about my life as an amputee and what I find inspiring and interesting. My goal is to start positive conversations and supply resources for inspiring anyone to work at being the best version of themselves.

 

My career is in digital marketing so I’m hoping to use the resources and experiences I have made through work for the greater good and create a site and service that will be useful.

 

While I’m focused on amputees I know that can be a starting point for everyone to take a second and realize everyone goes through highs and lows so let’s try to make those highs the best they can be.

 

I guess this is the part where I should introduce myself. My name is Christopher Robert Meier but I go by Chris. I hope this site becomes a safe place for anyone to find some level of inspiration and the perspective that we as humans are all living on this little rock in space together. We all have the same value and self-worth!
