Hello!

I’ll use this page and just take a second to quickly introduce myself and this website properly.

My name is Christopher Robert Meier I go by Chris. I’m from New Jersey and am a right leg below knee amputee or RBKA. If you see that acronym in blog posts or other articles I post you’ll know. Without getting into to much detail a typical below-knee amputee is someone who has no foot or ankle but still has a knee, shin, and calf. I have worked in digital marketing at a fashion company for the last 3 years and worked in a retail store selling clothes before that.

My main reason for creating this blog all started before this work experience. This’s a project I’ve had in mind since college. It’s certainly been influenced by my life since then, but this website is something I always wanted to create.

The Mind of Meier is a website, blog, content hub, but more importantly, a place to learn about my life as an amputee and what I find inspiring. My goal is to start positive conversations and supply resources for inspiring anyone to work at being the best version of themselves.
